Mary MacKillop Care offers accredited facilities for people no longer able to reside at home and is designed to cater for people with a variety of needs.
We provide care at all levels which means residents do not need to move as a result of their changing care needs and are able to maintain the relationships they have developed with staff and other residents.
Our dedicated and professional staff deliver a wide range of specialised services, catering for each resident’s individual health, leisure and lifestyle care requirements.
Additional services include our on-site hairdressing salon, comprehensive allied health program, spiritual support and palliative care services.
Our Lifestyle teams take a holistic approach to the needs of each resident and we offer a wide range of mind and body wellness programs.
Residents are welcomed and encouraged to participate in the diverse range of programs and outings and there is always something happening for residents, including exercise for fun, bingo, music concerts, bowling, cooking, craft, movie afternoons, pet visits and happy hour.
Bus trips are a welcome diversion for residents, with outings scheduled to see the beach, hills and local area at various times in the year.
Staff and residents work in consultation together to ensure the residents enjoy a variety of nutritionally balanced, delicious meals.
Understanding that food is instrumental in achieving both good health and a high quality of life, menus are created that focus on great taste and variety. Our kitchens offer residents a variety of everyone’s favourite ‘home-cooked’ meals, using the finest of ingredients, prepared daily on the premises.
We offer a seasonal menu so as to provide new options for breakfast, lunch, dinner, morning tea, afternoon tea and supper and we regularly cater for theme days which the resident’s thoroughly enjoy.
We offer choices of hot and cold meals and can cater for allergies, intolerances and culturally specific needs.
