Our Board

As an independently incorporated Public Benevolent Institution, Mary MacKillop Care SA Ltd is governed by its own Board and the Trustees are the Sisters of St. Joseph.

Membership of Mary MacKillop Care SA Ltd’s Board is voluntary and by invitation. The Board is the legal authority for the organisation and is committed to high standards of corporate governance, ethical behaviour and accountability.

Board members are trustees representing the interests of stakeholders, both constitutional and moral, entrusted to ensure sound management for the benefit of all.

Members are bound to ethical conduct in all areas of Board responsibility and authority. Board governance focuses on wider organisational purpose, strategic direction and governance policies.

• Currently on the Independent Hospital Pricing Authority, Health Direct Australia, Rural Health Workforce Australia and Cancer SA Boards
• Currently lead the Asia Pacific Health and Human Services Practice and the Oceania Government Practice for Ernst and Young
• Currently and formally involved in a number of Federal Ministerial bodies in the health care industry
